WAFFLES or PANCAKES??!

Question:

WAFFLES or PANCAKES??

a couple freinds i have been having the longest conversation on waffles or pancakes what do you think is better and y?

Answers: I like waffles better (especially Belgian waffles) because I really like the crisp texture better than pancakes. They also seem lighter - pancakes, especially when made badly, can be really heavy.

When done well though, pancakes are a close second to waffles... PANCAKESS, cuz they have better texture, and are more yummy. mmmm yes please Pancakes because of their simple design.
Waffles are too complex. Waffles.I think waffles are better cause their much sweet and theri not flat like pancakes. waffles cause the syrup stays nicely in the waffle pockets mmmmm waffles Waffles because they are more "P" like the second "P" in "PSP" I like both but with waffles you can load lots of toppings on to it. Belgian waffles with strawberries, strawberry syrup, and whip cream ... mmmmm .... IHOP style, baby! I think waffles are better caus the syrup goes into those little holes and it makes them easier to eat compared to pancakes. waffles.

they hold uniform pools of maple syrup in each of their squares --- that means more maple syrup goes into the mouth... just the way I like it.

they also are more rigid so two can be eaten together in sandwich form pancakes pancakes for me. Its soft, fluffy texture and generous toppings, whipped cream, maple syrup, ice-creams, butter, u name it...... I like waffles better. Pancakes are too soggy for me, like mush. A well-made waffle is slight crispy and can hold the Bing cherry jam I put on it better. PANCAKES ALL THE WAY!!!! It's really a toss-up for me.
But I'd say waffles cuz they seem more fun to eat. I like pancakes the best because to me waffles are spongy tasting.=)
