I need to make a brain ...out of candy?

Answers: I once did a "brain cake" it was awesome. I baked a cake, cut in 2 halves & then i covered in white frosting. I used candy for all the different parts. It took alot of work, but it was pretty easy finding candy that could present the different parts of the brain. Make sure to use alot of color to illustrate the various parts. http://www.ipmc.cnrs.fr/~duprat/neurophy... I would use gummi worms for the exterior, over a core of gummi bears, and gummi lips. For the hippocampus I would employ a few sweedish fish, and constuct the medula oblongata of sour patch kids.
Does it have to remain edible? Because I would be using industrial adhesives to bond all the peices together.
