Erm...... theres a clue in the name. Pigs and Turkeys (wafer thin ones).
Ingredients
Turkey (60%), Water, Salt, Stabilisers (carrageenan, Sodium Tri, Di and Polyphosphates), Potato and Rice Starch, Milk Protein, Dextrose, Whey Protein, Flavouring (contains Wheat Maltodextrin), Antioxidant (sodium Ascorbate), Acidity Regulator (sodium Citrate), Smoke Flavouring, Garlic Flavouring, Preservative (sodium Nitrite), Yeast Extract.
Contains: Gluten, Milk, Wheat.
I presume it is a mixture of the 2, turkey and ham.
Its from a skinny crossbred Turkham. I bet there isn't an ounce of turkey in it!!! If the truth be known.
iots a mix of pork and turkey rejects
gobble gobble gobble gobble turkeys turkeys!

probably.
not alot of turkey i gather
I hate to think. Something gross, pressed together with a lot of water, to make a horrible gunge.
Buy your children organic meat, nothing horrible or unknown in that.
turkey ham is from turkey but they add flavorings to taste like ham a really thin turkey? LOL
It is turkey. Check the lable.

Bert
Its more than likely scrap bits of turkey and pork. Like you get in various other thin turkey or ham slices. Have you ever seen perfectly round or square turkeys or pigs. Check the ingredients and see what e numbers,MSG,preservatives it contains.Maybe convenient maybe, but not very healthy.Check salt content also.I think if you saw this sort of food being processed you probably would not buy it. Just my own personal opinion. My son cannot eat it because of the behaviour problems E numbers etc: cause him.
Turkey "ALLEGEDLY" , lol.

Seriously, the law allows you to include other meats in meat products that are supposed to be a one animal meat only. I'm not sure if you're required to declare it on the label though.
turkey....that is the animal, the ham is just the description of the type of cut.
A model size 0 Turkpig
sorry but i think this q ids a bit stupid, why would it be clever to answer turkey as that's exactly what it is as the name suggests,b mathew is a turkey farmer...helloooo
i thought it came from turkeys, or as you pointed out it could come from turkey, got me thinking now ????
Yes but in the small print it says 'Not for Human Consumption'!!!
Hi Ellie, I have OFTEN asked myself this question although I would never buy............ let alone eat it.

In your answers I have laughed out aloud at the "turkpig" - that is so funny.

However, I have come to the conclusion it has nothing to do with either and has to be "camel's hump"!
