Is there really a difference in taste between buffalo mozzarella and fresh mozzarella?!


Question: No disrespect, but your question doesn't really make sense. It's like saying "Is there a difference between cow's milk and fresh milk?" REAL Mozzarella is made from water buffalo's milk. I tastes completely different from any other kind of mozzarella you can get. You CAN get "fresh" mozzarella (meaning other than the crap you buy in the grocery store) made from cow's milk and it will be great. But real buffalo mozzarella is a whole different story. I don't know where you live, but there must be an Italian specialty store that can hook you up with the real thing. Try it, you'll like it!!!!!!!!
