Its the carbonated water that makes the fizz, instead of the caffeine.

They combine the syrup and the caffeine, then add carbonated water, which gives the fizz effect. Caffeine will not affect how much soda comes out when you shake up the bottle.
it's not the caffeine but the carbonation. (bubbles!)
No. It has to do with the gas, carbon dioxide that is in the beverage.
