Mac-n-cheese? Regular or do you spice it up?!

Question: An american classic! Do you eat it? The original way? Or make it your own? Ideas?

well each and every recipe you should make it into your own. of course mac and cheese is a classic comfort food many just like it plain and simple. of course to be the best in the kitchen you can be you need to experiment at times and try new things. try adding many kinds of cheese like sharp and mild cheddar, gruyere, jack and even processed american. you can add, herbs, onion, garlic, tomatoes, bacon and even nutmeg to make a great mac and cheese. the possibilities are endless. just keep on creating and soon you'll have your mac and cheese favorite.
add butter and milk to it
I try whatever I can to make it my own. Usually the only thing it needs to spice it up is pepper. But my dad made it with paprika once. That's was *sarcastic cough* interesting. But just try something you think would taste good. Let your creativity shine straight from the mac-n-cheese! lol.

Have a good day!
I DO MAKE IT MY OWN, I USE 3 CHEESES, AND I ADD JALAPENO CHOPPED ,SOMETIMES, NAMASTE
I add a little Old Bay seasoning to spice it up!
Kraft mac n cheese w/ salsa recipe.....

1 box Macaroni and Cheese
Salsa
Green Chile

Directions:

Prepare Macaroni and cheese according to package directions

You can add the salsa when it is served and add the green chilis after the macaroni is cooked. I also use ham or chicken and add sauted onions and green pepper. I add this after the macaroni is cooked, just blend it in. Both are fast and very easy.
right out of the box. with only those ingredients..
I usually eat it the original way...you really don't have to do anything to mac and cheese to make it taste good. But, I have had pepperoni in it before...really good!!!!
I like the Velveeta mac and shells the best. I normally eat it plain, but have added some chopped green pepper and cooked hamburger. Takes it from a side dish to a main course casserole.
I make it with Velveeta and corkscrew pasta or shells pasta. I add chunks of Kielbasa Sausage, Jeny-O Turkey-Ham, or ground beef, and 1/4 inch pieces of onion, tomato, and bell pepper.
I don't like to add extra spices, but I do enjoy using a combination of flavorful cheeses, including small amounts of stronger cheese, such as bleu cheese (just a touch).

I've always added a spash of worcesteshire sauce to my mac-n-cheese too.
Don't mess with success! The original is best.
My secret ingredient is one packet of Taco Bell mild sauce.

I also like to top my homemade Mac-n-Cheese with fried onions, like the ones on green bean casserole.
I eat it regularly.
I like to put albacore tuna and lots of pepper in mine.
Add some diced ham to it with bread crumbs on top. YUMMY!
I love mac and cheese. I have added different kinds of cheeses for a different taste. Heck, I have mixed in basil and cilantro before for an interesting treat. I have added cayenne pepper before for a spicy treat as well.
I usually add more real cheese, pepper, hot sauce, crumbled bacon and/or diced ham and/or tuna and some Dijon mustard to the boxed stuff. If I make it from scratch, I usually use several cheeses, add sauted mushrooms and onions, bacon or ham, sometimes some cooked broccoli.
homemade any cheeses i have on hand little onion milk butter and a can of cream of mushroom soup makes it creamier
reg and spice it up with meat and veggies
