How come popcorn has more calories and fat when it is unpopped?!

Question: How come popcorn has more calories and fat when it is unpopped?

Answers: How come popcorn has more calories and fat when it is unpopped?
Because the volume is more than doubled when it is popped, giving it a lower calorie & fat amount per serving
Because you leave half of the fat in the bag when it's popped. (microwave popcorn)
An unpopped popcorn kernel and a dry popped popcorn kernel have the same calories, fats, etc. If you are taking your info off a microwave popcorn bag or a Jiffy Pop pan, then nora2200 has the correct answer.
I doubt the accuracy of that statement
