What's the healthiest kind of cheese?!
Answers: Are there any types of cheeses out there that are considered to be particularly healthier than others?
If, by healthy, you mean lower fat, yes, there are some cheeses that are made from milk, or reduced fat milks, rather than creams, that have less fat content. Goat cheese is "lighter" in this regard than other cheeses. Many common types are made in lighter versions as well, typically losing flavor, texture, and character.
Farmer's cheese, ricotta cheese, skim-milk mozzarella are a few lower fat cheeses. But real health is not so much about denying yourself incredibly delicious and wonderful foods--in any course, from dessert to entrees--but in knowing how to treat such foods as part of a well-balanced diet. Think of a great cheese as a final finish to a great meal--have an ounce (about 100 or 120 calories), rather than thinking of it as fondue, a dip for endless chips, or a giant hunk wedged and fried between slices of bread as a sandwich. Enjoy any cheese that you'd like, and be healthy by having just a little, as a splurge, every now and then.

Low Fat Swiss.
Edam is meant to be healthy i think.
The harder the cheese the less fat it contains. So choosing locatelli, parmesano, etc. would decrease fat consumption. But, basically all cheese is product made from milk. Processed cheeses like American cheese and stuff in tubs contain a lot of artificial ingredients so in my opinion they would be less healthy for you.
any kind of low fat cheese is always a better option than the whole fat kind. Kraft makes a good low fat cheese, you don't want to clog your arteries.
