What's the best way to discard used cooking oil?!

Question: Cooking oil should never be dumped on the kitchen sink or in the toilet bowl. The proper way to dispose of oil is to put it in a sealed non-recyclable container and discard it with regular garbage.

I always pour mine into a can (like green beans) and place a papertowel in with it. And just throw it in the trash.

If you have a ton of it (from a deep fryer)... see if you can find an old coffee can so that you can put a lid on it.

Wipe out the eccess oil in the pan with a papertowel and either handwash or put it in the dishwasher.
Yeah have to admit we just put it in a container and put it in the bin. You could use old bread to soak it up and feed to the birdies.
Hello:

I discard my cooking oil into a great big coffee can,and then once it is full,I throw it away.
