Don't like to eat meat?!
Answers: I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A PERSON WHO DOESN'T LIKE TO EAT MEAT GET THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF PROTEIN NEEDED FOR THE BODY?
I don't it eat either, for many reasons. There are a lot of other options out there for protein. In reality, protein deficiency is rare in the U.S. and present mostly in countries where a good number of its population suffer from famine. If you eat a varied diet and get sufficient calories, you are more than likely to get enough protein. In case your still worried here are some good sources of non-animal protein:
Garbanzo beans, Kidney beans, Lentils, Lima beans, Navy beans, Soybeans, Split peas, Barley, Brown rice, Buckwheat, Millet, Oatmeal, Rye, Wheat germ, Wheat, Wild rice, Artichokes, Beets, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Green peas, Green pepper, Kale, Lettuce, Mushrooms, Mustard green, Onions, Potatoes, Spinach, Tomatoes, Turnip greens, Watercress, Yams, Zucchini, Almonds, Cashews, Filberts, Hemp Seeds, Peanuts, Pumpkin seeds, Sesame seeds, Sunflower seeds, Walnuts.
There is even protien found in fruits:
Apple, Banana, Cantaloupe, Grape, Grapefruit, Honeydew melon, Orange, Papaya, Peach, Pear, Pineapple, Strawberry, Tangerine, Watermelon.
If you would like to keep track of the proteins you consume (and fats, carbs, vitamins). fitday.com is a good site. Their free online account is great.
Tempeh...tofu, nuts, olives, eggs (or not), soy beans, green leafy veggies, beans and rice=complete protein...good luck!
Yes, substitute meat for other high in protein foods like peanuts, peanut butter, beans, eggs, tofu... just make sure you eat the proper foods, and you will do fine.

My mom is not a veg'n, but doesn't like meat very much either.
She eats beans, pinto beans, white beans.
also nuts, like cashews and almonds
I've only bought this once at wal mart and it is a meat, but thin sliced turkey cutlets.
they are kind of like pork chops. I grilled them and my daughters really liked them.
I marianted them in italian dressing like I do my chicken.
The youngest (8) still dipped it in ranch dressing.
oh,
there is also protein mixes you make drinks out of.
