Whats a good price for a watermelon?!

in the season when the watermelon is ripe and sweet, the best i've seen is 9 cents/pound. now back to 33 cents i my area, they are not good any more anyway, so i am not buying.

Price depends on a season and region.In NY during summertime a good deal is about $5 each for 15 to 18 lbs.Other times of year they are more expansive .
