Is the use of a MICROWAVE OVEN on regular basis harmful for one's health?!

It is microwave radiation. Not radiation radiation get it? It simply causes the molecules to vibrate causing heat. There are no residual after effects other than heat. Relax and don't buy the urban myths about microwave ovens.
Microwaving your food shouldn't be dangerous to your health at all. Use glass containers when possible and as for 'lids', I just use paper towels or an overturned paper plate. Cheap and disposable..
I use the microwave everyday and have not been harmed in any way. I am a senior cook in my kitchen.
The best lid or cover depends somewhat on the food you are cooking.
I usually use wax paper or paper towels, but commercial companies now sell lids that are transparent, microwave safe, and also very economical to purchase.
Use of a lid requires ventilation of steam while in the unit.

I have no evidence, but have you ever noticed that microwaved food doesnt taste as good?
I think that microwaving takes away some of the nutritional value of your food.

I like toaster ovens.
