Answers: Except for maybe some exotic types, Bunn is probably one of the best you can buy retail. However, I really like my Hamilton Beach BrewStation, which has a 'push-to-pour' dispenser on the bottom.

I like Bodum's french presses. I also like Bodum's Vacuum Brewer, but I find the process of using it a bit less convenient than a french press.

You can purchase a Bodum's French Press coffee maker at Bed Bath and Beyond. They are also available at finer department stores in the kitchen section. French press coffee requires a course ground coffee.

I'm a coffee snob and have one strong cup every morning.
I use a #4 coffee filter in a cheap plastic holder. I pour boiling water I heat on my stove. I works perfectly!
Really high tech, eh?
