Is Splenda a healthier alternative than sugar or honey, especially for recipes?!

Question: I have heard about Splenda is an artifical sweetner for sugar. I never tried Splenda before. I thought about buying Splenda, and trying it in recipes. I am wondering, is Splenda actually a healthier alternative than these natural sweetners? Anyone who has used Splenda, could you share your thoughts about it? Thanks!

No, it is not healthier for you. It is a chemical compound made to taste like sugar. Sugar is a natural product. If you are wanting to use less sugar without effecting the taste of an item, try using Stevia. It is a natural product and can be found in most health food stores. It is powerfully sweet so much less is needed than with cane sugar.
In cookies and other baking recipes you can't even tell the differrence.
its all the same. i rather use real sugar than all those artificial sweeteners. i just doubt that they're any good for u.
It isn't healthier but if you have diabetes it would be better to not have regular sugar, but splenda is made from chemicals just so it can taste like sugar, honey would be better since it's more natural really.
