My favorite comfort food on cold days is home made macaroni and cheese, the type you stick in the oven and the top gets golden brown and crunchy while the middle stays hot and cheesy, awwww soooo good. We get tons of cold days here, I live in upstate New York, right off of the lake.
I love chips and gravy!! - and pizza..
chicken and corn soup
hot chocolate :)
sweet potato
hot coco
soup
it never gets cold here
CHILI and ritz or club crackers maybe two or three alarm any more than that and i pay for it later

Northern Calfifornia gets cold enough. On cold days, I like my homemade chicken noodle soup, and hot apple cider or hot spiced tea.

Home made chicken noodle soup and Tea, its the perfect combination on a cold crisp day or night.
i live in england. my favorite comfort food is pasta with a nice tomato sauce. but just a simple fried egg could do me! x
homemade chicken pot pie (the pennsylvania dutch soup w/ dumplings. NOT the actual pot pies). mmm soo yummy

I'm from souteast Texas, though... so it's hardly ever "freezing." The coldest it gets is like 20 - 30
In Massachusetts, everyone eats warm things on cold days.
A lot of the cold days appear to be every day.

The comfort food is warm chocolate cake or hot chocolate. lol.
no much colds days here in the philipines its cold days only during rainy days. our food during cold days is coffee

Chili, no question about it. A nice, steaming bowl of chili with crackers and hot sauce and I'm in Heaven.
Well, to other people, it'd be warm haha. we get to about the 70's in the winter. [i live in arizona] anyway, for OUR cold days, i like tortilla soup, or a nice cup of hot chocolate.
protein shakes and bananas, Japanese stirfries with fried lettuce and chicken and shrimp, eggs, bran flakes, baked french fries, udon with hot sauce, preferably whole-grain, lemon-flavoured sugar-free seltzer water, tea, rice milk, fruit ice, etc.
I get plenty of cold days. I'm near Chicago, IL.

What really hits the spot for me is a nice hot cup of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich.

In my region cold days happen but they aren't as common as New England or Minnesota.
