Freezing foods`?!
anyone know of fast ways to do this. my idea was to use dry ice and put the the stuff in plastic bags,
he said it would get freezer burn even if seperated a little from the dry ice
anyone else know quick ways to lock in freshness of foods and still have them taste fresh. like apples for example, frozen in a refrigerator, they get mushy
thanks in advance
Answers: a friend and I were talking about freezing foods, veggies, meat and even soups.

I've seen some really good answers so far. The only thing I can add is make sure you freeze things in a shallow container. This makes them freeze faster. If you are freezing vegies, blanch them first. Then make sure they are completely dry before freezing them the water can cause freezer burn. Lastly try to freeze things in a single layer.
invest in a food saver. One of the best things my husband and I had ever bought. We go to the warhouse stores and buy in bulk and we vacume pack all the meats, nuts, vegies, and other perishable items. If you dont have a food saver, use zip lock bags. Suck all the air out of the bag and then zip it shut.
just place the foods in a good container and freeze in a regular freezer as long as air dosent get to the food in its container it will be fine no need for dry ice or anythig else
