Answers: i live in PA and Acme is the main grocery around me. the turkey meat is super expensive! any ideas where i can find cheaper ground turkey?

Look in the frozen food section. It usually has higher fat but it works fine. It is in packaging like sausage or cheap ground beef, you know, the roll.

It's funny how now that ground turkey is getting more popular they've raised the price lots! You can always ask your butcher if they ever mark it down, or get a tube that's damaged and maybe they'll sell it to you for less. You could buy a grinder but I'm guessing you maybe don't want quite that much :) You can always ask the butcher anything you want at www.all-about-meat.com

I have to agree with the others on the Wal*Mart issue. By far the least expensive, best quality ground turkey. I cook with it a lot.
