Are raw gizzards supposed to smell bad?!

Question: My mom bought me some gizzards around Oct.3th and I just opened them today, Oct.12th...I have never made them myself but are they supposed to smell badly when you first open them raw??? (Im sure they can't be expired in 9days...) Also, we got them on sell for 89cents, it said managers special on the sticker...hmmmm

If the smell bad they are bad. Nine days is a very long time to try to keep any meat not preserved or frozen. Managers special could mean a couple of things, they had a bunch to get rid of or they were a couple of days old.
Since you got them on Oct 3rd for 89 cents, they were probably bad on September 28th. I don't know if you should eat them...but on the other hand, if I was in your shoes, i would eat em..lol...i loveeeee gizzards!
Ya, if the smell bad they ARE bad. Sorry.

Bert
it's probably bad...throw it out....
