Yes, at least 30 minutes to cool before you put it in an airtight container. If it doesn't cool, it will be all gooey & yucky!

At least 30 minutes to an hour. Feel the cake all over to check to see if it is cool enough. Because the one thing you don't want is for it to sweat on the container before you serve it.
