Why is it so hard..............?!
I have tried them a few times and I love the taste but can't seem to find them anywhere, other than a local farm shop but that is very rare.

You are right they are bloomin lovely, and yes they are difficult to come across, I'm afraid it has to be the farmers markets and that's about your lot.
Just a thought going off track a little - have you tried "Ostrich" egg ? they are so delicious I promise, don't turn the chance down but, be warned one egg can feed up to six people and you need strength and patience to get into one!!!
yuk
Few people comercialy raise Geese these days. It use to be they could be found on farms and the eggs were more readily available. People seldom eat Goose these days so farmers don't raise them.
The local farm shop is the best bet aside from knowing a farmer to purchase from directly.
ive never tried goose eggs but they sound quite appetising.i dont know where to them either,im in the country so there should be plenty of farmers markets
They are seasonal....march-july i think.
