Is it true that you shouldn't drink milk after u eat fish?!


Question: i heard that many times but iam not sure if its true.

Milk and Fish, does not go well together. That combination, can make you feel ill.
Whyever not?
You might even want to try milk & fish at the SAME time!
Cod au Gratin

Preparation Time:15-20 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-30 minutes
4 servings

Ingredients:

1 lb cod fillets, cut into cubes
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
1 & 1/4 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
pepper to taste
1 small onion, finely chopped(optional)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs or cracker crumbs
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated


STEP 1: Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Place cod in greased baking dish or individual baking dishes.

STEP 2: In heavy saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour until smooth and remove from heat.

STEP 3: Gradually stir in half the milk; return to heat and beat until smooth and shiny. Gradually add remaining milk, salt, pepper and onion. Cook, stiring, untill smooth and thickened.

Step 4: Pour sauce over fish and sprinkle with bread crumbs and cheese.

STEP 5: Bake in 375 degree oven for 15-30 minutes until sauce bubbles and fish is cooked.

what i heard is that you should never have milk and orange together.
it has bad effect on your body.
You know, my mom used to say that all the time, but I don't know if its true.
My mom used to say that to me as a child and when I asked her why she would say "it will cause lepropsy"...hmmm I don't know if this is a medical fact but I still don't do it or allow my child to either. lol.
