There is Potasium Chloride which tastes exactly the same and it has no Sodium. Potasium chloride is what sweat is, just in liquid form, that is why sweat is salty.

sea salt has a lower amount of sodium. is this what you're thinking of?

Not sure, but would it be kosher salt ? I had look on the internet and kosher salt is the best description I have found.
