Answers: generally, what is the best tasting french food that can satisfy almost everyone's taste buds?

I don't know of anything that will satify everyone.
Here a coup[le ideas though-
Buerre blanc, a suce made by reduccing some juice (I like to use orange juice) with some aromatic spices, like black pepper and/or garlic. Reduce until syrupy then take off the heat and add cold butter a little at a time, keeping the pan moving. Pour this over steamed veggies or poached or broiled fish.
Here is a nice dessert idea I got from France. Serve fresh raspberries on a dish with some creme fraiche. Simple and awesome.

Ohh stay away from the frogs, escargots and poissons unless you are fluent in French and used to eating weird stuff . . . safest and good eating is pom fritts au gratin (potato chips topped with grated cheese) . . .
