lets say an 80kg man could convert sugar into energy completely.

an 80 kg man needs to reach 11 km/s for him to escape earth gravity (that's all he needs, he'll coast to the moon after that). for an 80kg man to reach that speed, he needs 5017 newtons of kinetic energy.

according to einstein, E=mc^2, since we know 5017 newtons would get our guy to leave orbit, we need to find the mass of sugar needed to reach that amount which is about .000055 g of sugar.... i think... ;)
