How long does an opened container of coffee last in the freezer?!

Question: Just wondering as I've had some in the fridge and just put it into a deep freeze in my fridge's freezer. How long does it usually last before it tastes bitter or icky?

I buy Flogers (in the plastic gallon containers). I keep about two cups in a seperate container by the coffee pot, and the remainder in my freezer. I have kept opened containers (with the lid on obviously), in the freezer for three months or so with no noticable difference in taste. It might keep longer. I would, at the very least, use a permanent marker and put a date on the coffee container. When the coffee begins to taste different, bitter or icky, make a note of how old the coffee is, they use that as a guide.
As long as you make sure it's in an airtight container, it should stay fresh for about 3 months.
