Question: I can only drink coffee for like 5-6 months and then I start getting sick and nauseated from it. 6 months later, I can start drinking it again. Anyone else out there have the same type of situation?

I feel sick too after coffee, but not quite as severe as your situation.

I just think that it's too strong for my stomach to handle. Normally I would need to get it as milky as possible and replace milk with a soya subsititute and that has helped?

yes

god, that really sucks.... I don't know what I'd do in the morning without coffee. Maybe it has to do with the way coffee raises blood pressure?

A PIECE OF ADVICE,TRY TEA.

The caffeine builds up and builds up until it starts to make you sick. Then eventually all the caffeine gets sweated/urinated/pooed out

Try decaf

Yes - drinking coffee sometimes makes my stomach ache too. I found that switching to decaf worked wonders.

i did that when i was prego....
They used to have a drink called TAB and i loaded up with it, and i did the same thing with that during my pregnancies. crazy,
it could just be your system or hormones in overdrive!

Caffee is drying you up and irritating your stomach. You may even have pain behind the eyes. You need to drink more other drinks when your drinking coffee. It's good for your skin, lungs, and many other aspetcs encluding enjoyment.

So try to vary your intake. "Everything in moderation".

Hope this helps.

P

Yes-you could have an ulcer or an infection or GERD. You need to see your doctor. I quit drinking coffee 6 months ago & took antibiotics for 2 weeks (necessary either way) & have felt fine ever since. I tried to drink some coffee at my favorite breakfast place last week & thought I was going to be sick. Give it up-try green tea instead.

Yes, and I finally gave it up for good. I thought it was going to rot my stomach out. I developed ulcers from coffee. Trying to drink it was just not an option anymore. I switched to Red Rose tea. It is a delicious black tea I learned to drink when I was in Egypt. Try it.

You may have a sensitivity to caffeine

Did u take that hard strong black coffee like espresso or juz white coffee?
I bet your body can't take that much caffeine or you might have coffee allergy.

Sometimes the pesticides and preservatives used on some products make us ill.Perhaps after a 6 month buildup, your body cant take it any more, and needs to detox. Though more expensive, give organic a try.

No What are you drinking?
