Is it true that you can remove the mold from cheese and eat it?!

Question: If it's a hard cheese (cheddar, gouda, parmesan, etc.), you can. If it's soft cheese (brie, feta, cream cheese) you shouldn't.

yes , by law( in restuarant) you have to cut out arounr about 1 inch and deep. at home just cut out the bad spot

and guess what you can eat the cheese as well

amazing...........

not the sharpest chisel in the tool box are we

Yes - have you never eaten stilton!! Thats full of mould and totally yummy!

Yuppers! Sure can! I do it all the time. I actually think that is how blue cheese is made.. it's the mould that gives it that pungent taste (although I don't like it.. some people love it!)

Cheers

yes, people do it all the time

sure you can. just remove the part that has the mold on it. As cheese ages it molds. The mold is removed before packaged and sold. This is how chedder gets its flavor - mild, medium, sharp. extra sharp.

If it's a soft cheese .....NO
If it's a hard cheese ...yes
