Answers: it comes in the fruit that it is made out of. like lemon sherbet comes in a half lemon, and apple comes in an apple and pina colada comes in a coconut.
Island Way is probably the company you are thinking of. They have lemons, pineapples, coconuts, and apples among others. The real fruit cups are frozen solid and the sherbet is scooped into the cup. They call it sorbet but there is milk listed in the ingredients so it is sherbet. Sorbet has no milk product in it whatsoever. So, you are correct in calling it sherbet. I buy mine at Trader Joe's market. You can also order them on-line.
