Are you kidding???
If my food bill gets any higher I will be looking for recipes using cardboard and newspaper instead of food!!!

..mine is always up than my expectations.

Yes. The high cost of oil/gas for the transportation of goods, and general inflation, is to blame.

in the USA, the country is 43% in drought. this will surely have an affect on prices world wide.
mostly in the southeast where there is a lot of farming ...

Every time my shopping goes up! Sugar seems to go up a penny a week and So do toiletries!! Someone is on a good screw.

Definitely. The cost of everything seems to have risen alot xx

yes

oooh yeah..

but the price of corn went up

with corn going up in price..

milk, meat, eggs, chicken, chips, cereal, some breads..all goes up because

it takes corn to feed cows...affecting hamburger..milk..cheese..and other dairy products..

corn to feed chickens...so anything..dealing with the chicken goes up..

anything that contains corn meal or corn goes up..

totally.

Every time I go to the store I notice prices on items I buy on a regular basis going up.It doesn't seem to matter which store I go to either(I like to find my bargain). For families with a budget this is making the pocket book stretch a bit to far these days.

Yes I noticed my bill is slightly larger. Milk went up from 1.25 to1.47 and bread from .87 to 1.16. That is 52p on two items, so just what are they slapping on everything else?!

no, because im now shopping at lidl, which makes my shopping dirt cheap,,, yipeee

Yes, I've noticed it too. Very subtle but definately more expensive.

Not so say the UK government, according to them inflation is currently 1.8% per annum.

Funny you should ask that, yesterday I bought a couple of cinnamon twists from Morrisons at 79p, when I went today they were already 10p more!!!!! That's a big hike in 24h.

Also I found recently that my fave biscuits: Lemon puffs, which are practically everywhere at 78/9 p, they've gone up to the 90p mark in Sainsburys.

yes things have definitely gone up. I generally try to stock up on the buy one get one free but these offers now seem to be changing to buy 2 for whatever price displayed these don't seem as good value.

Yes, my groceries have gone up considerably. Dang the oil/petrol companies for getting rich off of those of us that are going poor. And it is no surprise that the gap between the rich and the poor is widening.
