I found a piece of plastic in my food what can i do about it, it was frozen chicken nuggets?!

Question: I work in a restaurant, and you know what? That kind of stuff happens. Sometimes plastics and other objects can get into the food. This happens when we are prepping and item for sale. A little big of the plastic bag that it was portioned in, or a date sticker so that we know when it was made slips off and into the food.

It is not going to hurt you in any way. Just don't eat the plastic. You can call up the company and complain, and yes they are going to send you free stuff because they want to make you happy, but is that really a good way to go about it. If you were not injured in anyway, let is slide. If something happens at your work are you happy about it when people freak out?

If it did make you sick, call the company. They will want to look into it to make sure that they are selling a safe product, but most of the time plastics go right through your system. You eat so much plastic everyday that you don't even know about. Just go by this, if you can see it, and it bothers you, don't eat it.

Check the back of the box for a customer service phone number. Call, make a stink, and they will likely send you some good coupons

Look on the package that it came from there should be a free phone number to call for consumers concerns.

OMG I just found some blue plastic in frozen fish !! Is that just a coincidence!?!?!?!

Did the nuggets come in a plastic bag inside the box? Is it possible that when you opened the back some of the plastic fell in with the nuggets? If you found it and did not eat it and did not get sick I would not worry.

what make are they? its freaky, really, i would not eat it

write to the company that makes them, dont send the plastic off yet, they usually send you some vouchers or free food, its worth a stamp

Junk the nuggets and eat the plastic, probably do you more good

Why do you worry about such things, soon everybody will want some and be careful they might charge you for it.(joke) Is there not a chance its a part of the wrapping you didn't take off?

contact the address that is on the back of the box/packet,

Contact the manufacturers, then send the plastic back to them. Don't send the food, it'll rot before they get it! There's no need to be nasty about it, unless they aren't interested.
I once found a piece of blue rubber glove in a tin of Pedigree Chum puppy food and when I contacted them to tell them it was there (I didn't complain, I just told them so they could check the production line), they sent me a whole load of vouchers for free puppy food!

Don't eat it.

Serves you right for buying chicken nuggets. Disgusting, still - you have lived to tell the tale!!!!

Omg I found plastic too This must be a Movement.
