i was eating a hamburger for dinner right before i saw that movie, i've been a vegetarian ever since i saw the truth on the kill floor, and fast food, hah no way, never again

I saw the movie and just don't agree with you. In the movie he had to just order the combos and have everything supersized when asked. I honestly believe that if someone was to choose wisely from the menu that the resuts would be different. But that is just my opinion.

While I haven't seen the movie yet, I read the book. It is very enlightening, sort of like a current day "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair. And it didn't change my dietary choices much because I was already watching my diet and was eschewing fast food.

thanks for recommending ,i will see it for sure.

I assume you are talking about "supersize me" not "fast food nation". I don't think there is a movie "fast food nation".
Regarding "supersize me" the health effect are real but his premise isn't. He's eating 3 meals a day, consuming 5000 calories a day. Who in his right mind would do that. If you eat 5000 cal a day and never eat at MD you would still have health problems. So it has nothing to do with MD. The movie was all over the palace as far as theme. First about excess food. Then about children's health. Then about moldy french fries. What's his point? There were many half truths and out and out lies in the movie just to make his point and sell tickets I suppose.
MD is not perfect. There food is too high in fat and sodium for anything besides an occasional meal. But if you make a decision to stop eating meat based on the movie then you are not practicing the required skepticism of a scientist and just blindly following because you are unwilling to challenge the philosophy.
