last year i did a long survey on dog food, the reward for my time was a bag of their companys dogfood, it was real expensive stuff, $18 a bag
i filled the dogs bowl and left my 2yr old out there while i put the food back inside, i walked out and saw my son crunching away!, i grabbed a peice and tryed it to make sure it was ok
and i swear it tasted really nice!, lol so id definately eat it if i was starving, it costs more than human food, it must b good
that brand had the nutritional panel on it, it was full of vitamins, protein and carbs, it was very healthy! xxxxxxxxxxxxx

sure

ya duhh
id eat anything
besides if u think about it u hav like no choice
and it might taste pretty good:)

I would eat the one ones that both human and animals can eat. lol

I think eggs are cheaper. I'm pretty sure I would fill up on beans and rice before I would eat pet food. I don't even feed my pets the really cheap food. I'm not too proud to take a handout for food.

Many times low income and elderly people have been known to eat dog food when despirate. The quality standards for pet foods are nearly as strict as regular food for human consumption. I would however, limit it to American products. So, Yes if starving.

if i were starving yes

i would eat both because if your very hungry it's like you never taste anything while eating.besides it's non-toxic is it?

Of course. And so would you. Go hungry a few days, and there are much worse things you would consider eating. Anyway, pet food is made from basically the same things our food is- just not as appetizing.

yea obviosly... i know a crazy guy that eats dog food every day :S!! its soo strange!

If it was the only thing available you bet, you would be suprised at what you would eat while starving!

No. If the stuff tastes as bad as it smells, I would really have problems.

Yes.

The famous food writer M.F.K Fisher wrote once that she always ate a bite of any new food before giving it to her pets, and that if it smelled too unappetizing for her to take even a single bite, she wouldn't give it to her pets either.

I'd eat it. Hungry enough and you'll savor it.

I would because i would have to survive some how it doesn't really matter as much about eating things like that, i would probably eat the dog treats like beggin bits and then i would probably eat some old roy dog food if i had too.

Would you CHOOSE death?.

If a person was truly "starving", obviously they would eat pet food.
There are, however, ways to eat with very little money. It just takes a little thought.
A pound of beans is 56 cents. Tuna is usually 2 for a dollar, around here. Rice is cheap.

My Dad is a food chemist and worked for a large petfood manufacturer for many years. He says the factory conditions there were a lot better than some food companies that made food for human consumption.

Yes, I would eat pet food.
