Has anyone felt ill after eating a Grapple?!

Question: Grapples ( http://www.grapplefruits.com ) are fuji apples that has had grape flavor added to them through a "patent-pending complex infusion process". The one I ate I was delicious; but I noticed the artificial-like grape smell on my hands, and I could taste it on my lips long-after.

For days now, I haven't had much of an appetite and the smell of them makes me nauseous. In fact, the idea of "grape" anything makes my stomach churn. Has anyone had a similar experience after eating one?

Don't get me wrong, the one I had tasted great at the time, but I can't phathom eating the rest that I bought! Has this happened with anyone else?

Thanks!

Haha..when someone first told me about these I thought they were kidding, so I had to try them for myself! :) The smell or taste didn't stick with me but I did have a stomach ache after eating one. There were four in a pack, and the other 3 sat in my fridge for awhile. I finally threw them away. I didn't have symptoms as bad as yours though. Maybe you have a slight virus that was starting when you ate them...that or if they weren't cleaned well enough you could have picked up a slight illness...I don't know but I hope you feel better. I think it's safe to say, I'll be staying away from the "Grapple!" :)
