I am an avid tea drinker and have researched the topic myself. I found that there are positives and negatives.

First the positives:
1. Contains amino acid L-theanine which boosts immune system and mental alertness
2. Has anti-cancer properties (mostly green tea)
3. The caffeine and thermogenis found in tea increases metabolic rate
4. Has possible anti-diabetes effects
5. Lowers chances of cognitive impairment
6. Lowers stress hormone levels
7. Helps eliminate bad breath

And the health concerns:
1. Contains excessive amounts of fluoride which is believed to cause cancer in the digestive tract
2. Caffeine has addictive properties
3. Tea contains oxalate which can soak up your body’s calcium
4. Can cause iron deficiency
5. Tea us a diuretic

Despite the health concerns, I still love tea and drink it on a daily basis.

If you are still concerned, contact your physician. They will often recommend that you don’t consume tea as frequently if you are showing signs of anemia.

Not only the caffeine, but tea is high in iron, and if you could develop an iron deficincy in your blood because your body gets used to producing less.

But one to two cups a day is perfectly fine, and try herbal teas if you still need to get your fix

There is if u live in the 1700's 'cause of the tea tax you could go crazy with those high taxes. You would go into debt. ON TO THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR!!!!

Depends what kind of tea.
Lots of caffeine in tea, unless it's decaffeinated.
Caffeine is good is small doses but bad in high doses. (the same goes with coffee).

Also tea is a diuretic, makes you pee a lot and therefore dehydrate so you should drink plenty of water to offset the water loss.

So, basically, tea is good for you...especially green tea and all the antioxidants...but make sure you drink plenty of water and if you start having insomnia...switch to decaffeinated.

Some say it can cause acne..thats green tea, i don't know if that is definitly true.
It may also cause you to go to the bathroom a lot.
It varies from person to person.
