Your steak is not cooked to your request do you complain?!
Answers: tonight my meal was really unpleasant, it way too salty, i barely touched it, hours later my lips are still dry from the abundance of soy sauce used. i didn't send it back but told the waitress it was inedible, not so much as even a "sorry" or "will let chef" know. will not be going back or referring my friends.
Unlike having someone cook for you in their home, you are paying good money for the food you get in a restaurant. If it is not prepared the way you ordered it, then you politely tell the waitress and she should let the chef know. If this doesn't happen, then you ask to speak to the manager or owner or the chef. However, if the food was properly prepared and you simply didn't like it, then it shouldn't be grounds for complaining or loss of your patronage, you simply don't order the same dish anymore, because it's obviously something not to your tastes.
Yes, if it's a reasonable complaint.
Oh really? if I will you, I will ask get the manager to taste it and have it change to a new set. Well is is me who is eating it and paying for it, so ? remember customer is always right.. ha ha cheers
no, jst neva go back to that restruant againxD
lesson learnt
i like my steak nice and tender...and if it tastes like crap, i would let the chef know cause u are paying for it...although, theres a saying, if u have nothing good 2 say, dnt say anything at all..
Yep, diplomatically after all, they are handling my food -and I am paying for it. I like to try to work out a win -win situation. If that does not happen, I would not patronize that place anymore, and I would tell my friends also to aid them in their dining out selections. Also I would not tip a waiter/waitress who seemed un-concerned about the source of tips. If they are not concerned, then why should I be?
What type of Restaurant where you at?
Well I would of done the same thing I would of told the waitress most apologize even though it's not their fault. But just the humbleness to apologize to you and tell you that they will let the chef know.
I wouldn't return it either but they do get upset of people complaining about the food. Because My friend is a cuisine chef and he hates it.. He says "what if i go to your house and your cooking and I just happened not to like what you cooked because it was un edible and i tell you this is not so good take it back. You wouldn't sit there and recook it and make it better for my standards right?" and i told him hell no you better like what i made for you and that's it I'm not recooking something or re season it.
so he said exactly my point but yet people expect us not to get upset and spit on there food.
so honestly I mean You are going to that restaurant and paying so you should be able to COMPLAIN COMPLAIN but they don't see it that way.. since they have to deal with so much clientele i guess it can get pretty hectic..
But We are paying for it and that is there job so they sorta do have to take it all in and just do it..=)
Depends on how hungry I was.
Since I am paying for it, I expect it to be to my specification and I don't think that is too much to expect.
Sometimes I will send something back, steak or lobster - absolutely. Something with sauce, like a burger or pasta, probably not, because I wouldn't want it to return with "paatooowee" sauce included, you know what I mean? In a case like that I would express my displeasure to the manager and probably not return to that particular restaurant again.
Yes, I would complain. What a terrible attitude to customer service. And how disappointing for you.
Tell as many people as you can not to patronise that restaurant - that might give the owners the message.
Hell to the YES I would complain. If I'm spending my money in your establishment I want good service. You have to take in to consideration you put [I don't care if it was one] miles on your car and used your time and gas to go to an establishment to eat a salty steak? Would you let someone sell you a brand new car with bald tires without complaining or would you say something about it? So honey, complain let the manager know what they're cooks are doing and vow never to return. Because if it happened to you trust me it will happen to someone else.
