Cheese on toast, how do you do yours?!

Question: Love it but I'd like a variation.

Answers: Love it but I'd like a variation.

Toast one side of the bread under the grill, while cooking beans in a pot on the hob. Slice the cheese.

When beans are cooked (well, heated) place them on the non-cooked side of the bread, cover with the sliced cheese and place under the grill for a further 4-5 min - untill cheese starts to bubble.
Finish off with black pepper on top!!! We call it a cheese-beanio!!

Its delicious, great for cooking after a night out on the town.

Please try it, let me know how you get on!
Also try cheese and beans in a toast machine - ace!!!
Actually that's what I had for lunch today!

First a scraping of tomato puree, then the cheese, then some chopped onions then a sprinkling of oregano - voila - toasted cheese deluxe - fantastic!

melt cheese in the micro wave and then spread it onto ready made toast, try to eat it before the cheese hardens

Grill a pitta face down for a couple of minutes then slice it open and put grated cheese inside then back under grill until cheese has melted, you could add sliced olives,or chopped onions or anything you fancy into the grated cheese, enjoy.

Good quality, seeded, wholemeal bread, cheddar cheese. when bubbling add slice tomato. Ground black pepper to serve.

I cook one side of the bread under the grill, then when that's golden brown, I turn it over, put slices of cheese on the soft uncooked side, grill that side until the cheese is bubbling and starting to brown. I then squeeze some ketchup onto the top, spread it and oooooo my mouth's watering.

With Henderson's Relish (if you don't know what it is, move to Sheffield)
