Where in New Zealand can I buy French-style "Munster" cheese?!
I've checked the usual suspects (Pak'N Save, Woolworth, New World), no joy.
Are there any fellow cheeserinos cognisant of a Munster cheese source down here?
Merci.
Answers: You know, the apocalyptically smelly one, the type they serve with chopped onions in Alsace, and which should better not be left in a car when you go on holiday.

Try Vinotica in Albany on Auckland's North Shore. From memory, you're in Dunedin so you'll probably need to order it from their website - http://www.vinotica.co.nz/.
PS: I see from prior questions of yours that you are off to Auckland to live and, more specifically, to Albany to work. Looks like you've hit the jackpot!! If you can wait till you get there, you can go pick up the cheese personally. Avoid hot days........ :-)
Couldn't find a place in your vicinity where you can buy munster cheese :-( Even the Auckland shop mentioned by johno doesn't ship this kind of cheese - maybe it's too smelly so postal service refuses delivery? h?h? ;-)
But :-) at least I found a site providing a recipe for making munster cheese at home:
