If I have quite a lot to drink(which isn't as often as I'd like) why do you burp more?!

Question: I drink at the same rate as non-beer, so what's going on?

Answers: I drink at the same rate as non-beer, so what's going on?

Because when you are drinking you are ingesting a little bit of air with each swallow into your stomach. In addition, if the drink is carbonated, it adds carbon dioxide bubbles to the mix. The stomach naturally disposes of this excess gas via a burp.
