TV dinners; do you eat them often?!

Question: ~~~ TV Dinners!! ? Thank God for TV Dinners!! ? ....I eat them AND TV Breakfasts a couple times a day. Actually they aren't that bad tasting compared to the way I cook. My only complaint is the usual vegetables they stick in there. It seems like nine out of ten times it's yucky corn....which I ALWAYS throw away. Even the cats won't eat it,and I ALWAYS save a few bites of these frozen delicacies for them......our favorite is Marie Callender's Herbal Chicken & the Lemon Chicken Breast ones. I don't even like chicken very much,BUTT!! this stuff is killer. Last week I bought a bunch of Hungryman TV Dinners cause they were on sale [I like the beer-battered fish thingies] & I was reading the NUTritional facts on the back of the box.....Yikes!....these things oughta come with a warning from The Surgeon General on them. jEst like cigarettes. WARNING! Consuming this product will probably kill you. Eat at your own risk! If ya wanna No! the truth YSD...I'm sick of TV dinners! I can't even look at a Hot Pocket anymore. And I still have one left in my freezer. You hungry? LOL! ~~~

Thank You! freesumpin's TV Dinners sound tempting ? If I find them in Frozen Food Aisle I'll be sure to try them...as long as he leaves out yucky corn and/or mushrooms. Report It

  • No,I cook a lot. I'm on low sodium diet & prefer cooking.

Not often, because of the high salt content in most of them

I eat them pretty regular, at least once a week, sometimes twice, I like them, Chicken, Meat Loaf, Turkey, etc.

I do. I send my compliments to the chemist (instead of the chef).

    NO -

    Nasty tasting - flavorless.

Probably 1 or 2 times a week or so. See I am on Weight Watchers so the SmartOnes are something quick & easy for me to eat. But I try not to if I can since the soldium is soooo high in them.

Yes, but only because they are cheap and easy for me to take for my lunch at work.

No, I normally have stove-cooked meals.

Yes, but I mostly make my own from leftovers.

Very rarely. I think the last one I had was a Lean Cuisine back in 2000.

No! Not never! No way! I'm too good a cook for that, however::
I cook 'too much' food and place in ziplock baggies I'll freeze to heat up in a microwave.
So I suppose they ARE TV dinners when I can just heat and eat!
    Yes! Many times. Yes way!
    .

    never ever

I have never had one in my earthly existence
