Anybody else think that it was a bad business move for Jack in the Box to "hide" the owner's face?...remem!

Question: the E. Coli incidents a few years back?...Every time i see a Jack in the Box commercial with the "owner" wearing that big foam head I can't help but associate it with hiding his face from the scandal of E.Coli...what do you think?..

It's just a corporate logo, the same as Ronald McDonald. When "Jack" was designed, it's not very likely that the thinking behind it was to hide anything, any more than Chick-fil-A are encouraging illiteracy or Burger King and Dairy Queen are actually royalty.
As an immediately recognizable image that makes you think of their company, I think that it was a great business move.
