Are there more M&Ms or Skittles in the world?!

Question: M&Ms.

M&Ms were first sold in the US in 1941 and became so popular that in "1981, M&M'S? Chocolate Candies were chosen by the first space shuttle astronauts to be included in their food supply." (www.m-ms.com/us/about/history)

Skittles were first sold in the US in 1974. Sure Skittles are popular, in the US anyways, but by the time Skittles came out M&Ms were everywhere.

They're both made by the same company too. (Mars) So I don't think they'd be creating an exponential amount of one candy more than the other.

I'd say M&Ms--they're a much more "main stream" candy. Plus they come in so many varieties, it's kind of hard to not find a type that you like! (Crispy, Peanut, Dark Chocolate, Peanut Butter, etc.)

skittles everyone eats M&M's so there are less

I'm going to go with M&M's because more people
love chocolate.

I would say skittles cause there are more in a bag??

I would skittles because I think if aireheads and being dingy when I think of them. M&M's have substance and that is harder to come by.

there are equal shares and i own them all!

in Germany

DEFINITELY SKITTLES because skittles come from rainbows and it rains ALL the time..especially in Seattle.&& after every rain, there is a rainbow. on the other hand, M&Ms dont come from ranbows..therefore M&Ms are the minority in the candy population.?

I own the vending machines in my office, hence I have the candy. If you want some M&Ms, just stop by.

I would say M&Ms without a doubt because I've lived in Brazil for the past 6 years and M&Ms have been common here ever since I came, but skittles are just now starting to be sold in larger stores.

I'm sure there are more M&ms because they are more popular hence more are produced.
