I agree with the user who said to get rid of them after about 2 days. Strawberries don't have a terribly long life after they hit the supermarkets, and you can only expect to keep them as long as you would if they weren't covered in delicious chocolate.

When you store them in the fridge, keep in a plastic container with waxed paper/parchment to separate each layer of the cooled choc. covered strawberries. Keep on the bottom shelf/ bottom drawer (veggie/fruit) drawer, as this is the coldest area of your fridge.

Hope this helps. Happy eating.

fridge

Place stem side down on waxed paper covered baking pan or cookie sheet.
Refrigerate

Chocolate covered strawberries need to be kept very, very cold. I would suggest refrigeration, and set the fridge as cold as you can, without freezing.

cool themm in the refrigerator then take them out about 5 minutes before serving and put them in a cool area

My friend Leslie owns a candy store that makes these a few times every summer. She brings them to the night class we take, because according to her, no matter what you do their shelf life is about 36 - 48 hours, tops. They get rid of theirs at the close of business the day they make them.
