What is it about pork that makes Muslim people not want to eat it?!
Answers: I don't think eating pork is any different from eating beef, poultry, and sea food, so why do Muslim consider it a grave sin to eat pork?

It comes about because hundreds of years ago they were living in caves and didn't know about bacteria and disease. Pigs can carry trichinosis and if not cooked right, humans can get it. So the priests just said the animal is unclean and not to eat it.
And a health edict became a religious edict and now the overzealous can't drop tradition in the name of sound thinking and modern science.

Pigs eat garbage. And as pigs eat garbage, they tend to harbour all sorts of bugs, trichinella spiralis being one of them. Nasty stuff.

muslim people was told by Nabi Musa ( their religion founder ) that pig have worm which can make u sick.so from that on,all their follower chose not to eat it.
just like why hindu / budha dont like to eat cow meat because they r taught that cow r sacred animal.
in our QURAN ALLAH has told us not to eat pork or pig ,it is strictly forbidden.(haram),so we have to obey .
it is a dirty animal because it eats its own **** or phoo.and at least i don't want to eat the meat with phoo properties in it.
the real q is why would you want to eat it? it is so haram and eats its own excretiion so why on earth would you want to consume it in the first place. get used to it aite? muslims cant and wont eat that dirty ting end of.

Most are uneducated and have no concept of physiology of the digestive system..Pig or human..
OH the eating Po stuff - - - like the vegetables do not do exactly the same in the fertilizer.
