Are caramel apples strictly considered a fall dessert?!

Question: I've always wondered because you see Christmas and Easter and other seasonal themes of caramel apples online and QVC and such. I originally thought they were just a fall staple but do people commonly eat them other times of the year as well?

Hello:

I don't think so,because my family and I eat caramel apples all year long. It is usually more popular to have caramel apples in the fall time, because the air is cooler, and there are more variety of apples at the apple orchards or grocery stores to choose from. I love caramel apples even though they aren't good for your teeth, they sure taste really good! ;-)

People eat them year-round but it got to be a fall thing because of the fresh apple harvest

You get fresh apples in the Fall, which makes them a fall treat. Caramel apples, however, create tooth rot. People eat them all the time, together with caramel corn, cotton candy and other super sweets.
