What can I eat at lunchtime tomorrow Thursday October 24, 2007?!

Question: Tomorrow I have a plumber, a tiler and a general repair man coming in to do work in my kitchen.

This means, I will have no cooker (stove) available, no access to my micro-wave and I have nothing in my fridge that is 'ready to eat'.

What do you suggest I do for a meal at 'lunchtime'?

Incidentally, I cannot go out for a meal, because of poor health, I am confined to my home.

you could pre-prepare something now...its hard to suggeest anything seeing we dont know what supplies you have in your home.
you could hard boil eggs and keep them in fridge.looks like making sandwiches is your best bet.but beans cans of soup can also be eaten cold.maybe you can put the toaster on in another room and have beans on toast.

Well if there is no food in the house, and you can't go out, you are going to starve, aren't you?
Its either that or dial a pizza.

Why don't you phone domino's pizza and get a home delivery, and that way its ready to eat and you can bin the box when your done so you don't have to worry about dirty dishes...?

I would ask friends/family to bring something over or I would get a takeaway.

Look in your phone book and get someone to deliver some food, or can you ask a neighbour if they can get you something.
Also tomorrow is the 25th so hope all your workmen turn up and you've not got the dates wrong!

Also have you anything in your fridge you can cook tonight and eat tomorrow? Such as chicken? Have you any pasta? You can make a chicken/pasta mix which can be eaten cold.
Have you got any beans or soup? Heat them up before the workmen come and put them in a flask, it'll stay hot ready for lunchtime!

Packet of cuppa soup,
Banana sandwich,
yoghurt. Voila, a three course meal.

It's the 25th tomorrow (Thursday).

order pizza

If in doubt, Haggis. Lol.

How about a beetroot sandwich?

order pizza or chinese food. can u call someone to bring food over to you. or you could cook something 2nite and heat it up 2morrow before they come depends what time.

I think you'll find that tomorrow is the 25th.

Get a delivery

You could build a camp fire and have a cowboy style cookout :)

I like to make things that I can eat cold and take to work. One thing that I really like is cooking a seasoned chicken breast and cutting it up the night before. Then the next day putting it in a flour tortilla with tomatoes lettuce and whatever you think sounds good in it cheese anything and it is so yummy and healthy.

Why not ask the bod next door to assist you! Or call a friend to brig "munchies"

hI what have you got in your fridge ? Send your helpers out to get you food no problem thesedays. you got a flask? you got a garden how do you heat your home many ways of cooking up grub you got tin food/frozen /raw food loads of sugestions you dont need mains power .P.S when you send one of your helpers out to get food dont forget you want some beer to wash it down with I would suggest a 24 pack of cans so you can share with all work will be done and evry one will be happy and with a little bit of luck your have a couple of cans spare to share with a friend.
good luck kind regards ian
