If I were to freeze a carbonated beverage would it lose its carbonation and go flat?!

Got to be careful, water expands when it changes to ice, it might expand the can and cause the can to crack. The drink does go flat

If you freeze a plastic bottle of it then it will keep its fizz when it thaws out but a can will explode and any non-sealed container it will lose its fizz.

I have had pop that is partially frozen like a slush and it is still fizzy and very cold.

Yes, and I really don't know why...I never even buy canned beverages because you have to drink it all or throw it out.

Yes, it would, I use to put soda in ice cube trays and they always went flat, but were still good to eat.:)
