Love them! My favorite is sliced thick and grilled on top of a thick slice of tomato with melted provolone cheese and topped with a balsamic reduction. YUMMMY

Crumpets - mature cheddar cheese grated all over, finely chopped red onion sprinkled all over about twenty seconds from removing it from under the grill.
Sprinkle of pepper....schlurp.

Believe it or not, it actually goes well in a sandwich with apple. The sweetness of the apple and the sourness of the onion counteract one another.
Love it, i put it in spag bog instead of white onion makes it a little sweeter yum, also love it on cheese sandwiches and cheese on toast too, i find your tastes change as you get older i used to hate all kinds of onion, cauliflower, brocolli and now cant get enough of them hee hee you made me very hungry now ;-)

I like to make the fried red onion. Just cut it into small slices, fried it and keep it tight. Every times you make a soup or noodles, just spread on it.

I do love red onion, especially on a great sandwich or in a salad. What really surprised me is that my 4 year old daughter loves it, too! Other onions she likes cooked, but wants her red onion raw.

I love red onion in salad, or in my favorite sandwich: Ciabatta roll, pesto, ham, red onion, provolone cheese and watercress (or arugula or lettuce). Yum!

Red onion is lovely! Have you tried it roasted in the oven with winter veg? It makes a nice accompaniment with a roast dinner
Chop your veg up chunky, put in roasting dish, drizzle with olive oil.Roast on 200 for 30mins,quarter the red onions,chuck them in the dish & cook for anther 30mins. Delicious!
