My 3 year old flame point mix eats tomatoes, asparagus. Known to steal tomatoes if not given. Is it normal? C!

Answers: I've had about 10 cats over the years, and two liked to chew on veggies. Cats do like to chew grass if allowed outside. If yours isn't (good for you if you live where that's not safe!), they may chew on your produce. Have you tried offering wheat grass? I've gotten it at the Safeway and the PetSmart, it's also available at internet cat sites. Usually, it's a little pot with baby wheat stalks, which are like very vitamin-rich grass. You can get it already grown at a supermarket, or in ready-to-grow form elsewhere. You just water it and let it grow. My indoor cats have all loved it. For one of them, I had to put the plastic pot in a tight-fitting heavy bowl so he wouldn't haul it all over the house. If your cat doesn't prefer wheat grass to tomatoes and asparagus, I might ask the vet for a reason.

What the heck is a flame point mix? A dog? A cat?
News flash: Animals eat vegetables--even carnivores.
Your Siamese mix is like any other cat. I had one cat that liked spaghetti, another liked potato chips, one liked ice cream and one ate peas.
