What is the difference between a lollipop and a sucker?!

Question: seriously!

Answers: seriously!

A lollipop is a bribe. When you are young and stupid, the older sibling asks, "Can you do such and such."
You say, "Sure. But what's in it for me?"
He thinks a moment, then says, "I'll give you a lollipop."
Now, you had never seen or eaten a lollipop, but the sound of it seems to put the right picture in your head. You agree, do the favor, then your older sibling hands you a sucker.
"Hey!" you cry, "I wanted a lollipop!"

The candy in your hand is a statement for falling for the bribe.

is the SAME THING! the word "sucker" is just used in different regions of the US, I'm from Pennsylvania and we call lollipops lollipops. a couple of my friends are from Ohio and they call lollipops suckers

One you lick and one you suck lol - depends on where your from I think!! =)

samething just different words

I beleive a lollipop is a particular kind of sucker the common sphere shape. But suckers come in other varieties, such as the old-fashioned giant rainbow pinwheels.

There isn't one. Same difference as "coke" and "pop"

hmm, good question, actually, I believe it takes 233 licks to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop

there is none

One is candy and the other is a person who is easily fooled.

the locations at where they are use (up north/ down south) some say pop, some say soda/coke...

It's Name

I don't think there is a differance but in a tootsie pop has tootsie inside and there is no tootsie in a sucker and a lollipop well hope I helped.

A lollipop is a flat circle (larger than normal), a sucker is a full sphere (usually smaller)..

Lollipop=a piece of hard candy attached to the end of a small stick that is held in the hand while the candy is licked.
Sucker is the Informal word for a lollipop.. Hope this helps.

A sucker is your standard oval shape on a white stick that comes in assorted colors. A lollipop is round like a tootsie pop, dum-dum, or blow pop. Just a guess, if you're really looking for a difference.

A lollipop isn't born every minute.
