Do two 7" pizzas make a 14" pizza (technically)?!

Question: Not if they are round pizzas. You probably never thought you'd need geometry, but here it is.

The area of a 7" round pizza is about 154". The area of a 14" round pizza is about 617".

If you think about it, if you tried to cut up a second 7" pizza and arrange it around the perimeter of the first 7" pizza, you wouldn't get very far with it. The circle gets bigger and bigger as it extends outword.

I would think so.
